	Stunning, Creative, Bold, and Captivating are just a few ways to describe emerging Gospel artist Brittney Wright. Every time she lifts her voice, you feel the presence of the Lord instantly permeate the room. God has truly blessed Brittney with the tremendous gift of music. Her single “IWin” is sure to blaze the charts with its soul stirring tempo and inspiring lyrics. The song encourages every listener to believe that they will overcome any situation they find themselves in with the help and power of Jesus Christ. There is no way you will be the same after you hear Brittney declare “I Win”. Brittney has been singing all her life. Born in Mobile, Alabama, and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, at an early age, her father would call her out to sing at their family church. Her mother noticed her God-given talent and invested in her by enrolling her into the Cleveland School of the Arts where she attended from 5th to the 12th grade. It was here that she cultivated her love for music. Brittney was exposed to all types of musical genres while at the School of the Arts, including jazz, classical, folk songs, etc. She went on to matriculate at Morgan State University and sang with the world renowned Morgan State Choir under the direction of the late, great, Dr. Nathan Carter. It was during her college experience that she met other young people who were on fire for the Lord. Together these singers formed the group Anthony Brown and Answered Prayers. While singing with Anthony Brown and AP, Brittney was able to travel and spread the word of God through song. This group definitely helped grow her spiritual foundation for a career in Gospel Music. Now she uses all of these musical influences to create music that uplifts, motivates, and showcases her varied talents and abilities. Currently Brittney serves as Praise and Worship Leader and the Young People’s choir director at Empowerment Temple A.M.E. church in Baltimore, where Dr. Jamal Bryant is Pastor. There she has been able to learn from stellar award winner Jonathan Nelson and Steve Lawrence, both of whom have been a major inspiration for Brittney. It’s true that your gifts and talents will make room for you. Brittney’s musical talents have allowed her to share the stage with the likes of Shirley Ceasar, Tonex, Maurette Brown Clark, Yolanda Adams, Karen Clark Sheard, Fred Hammond and many other Gospel greats. She sings with Darin Atwater and Soulful Symphony, a not-for-profit arts organization, dedicated to the preservation of African-American cultural expression and to the presentation of symphonic music. Brittney is also apart of Left Brain Productions, a Baltimore based production company started bybrothers Joshua and Justin Lay. She shares her writing skills with the artists produced by this company. “The Beginning” is Brittney’s debut CD, with “I Win” being the first single. She is also the first artist launched by YSC Muziq Group. Brittney hopes and prays that when persons listen to this CD, they will understand that “no matter where they are in their relationship with God, there’s nothing that can keep them from God’s love.
